At first glance, Suncom's FX2000 looks like it might have been left on a hot dashboard, but all the strange contours have a purpose. The joystick is curved to fit nicely in the palm and the thumb button is ridged so the thumb lands comfortably. The base has a large crease in the bottom and indentations on the sides so it can be easily gripped during handheld use. Suction cups let the FX2000 cling to the desktop during intense play. The stick can be lifted and turned in any direction to reorient the control for those who hold the unit at an angle.
