The DS 2001 controller includes a tiny purple joypad styled in the traditional Playstation scheme and a pair of "grip pads" strap over your hands. Each pad connects to the purple joypad and allow for pressure sensitive motion while playing the game. The front and back of the left grip features the X and O buttons while the corresponding right grip mark the triangle and box buttons. This controller came bundled with Dance Summit 2001, a dance game were you're expected to work together in a teamwork. The game did not succeed to explain clearly how to use the controller -gamers asked for help in multiple Internet forums- and the game in general received poor reviews. For all this reasons, this controller is fated to become device of cult.
